1. INTRODUCTION & DATA CONTROLLER

This Privacy Policy explains how Artem Teluschenko ("we", "us", or "our"), as the developer and publisher of the iPDF: PDF Tools mobile application ("App"), handles information when you use our App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Polish data protection laws, Artem Teluschenko is the Data Controller of any personal data processed in connection with the App.

2. LOCAL DATA PROCESSING & NO TELEMETRY

iPDF: PDF Tools is engineered strictly as an on-device, privacy-first PDF utility.

• No External File Uploads: All PDF manipulation tools (including merging, splitting, compressing, converting images to PDF, and editing) are processed 100% locally on your iOS device. We do not operate external cloud servers to receive, upload, transmit, or store your documents or photos.
• No Analytics or Tracking: We do not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or advertising frameworks within the App. We do not track your app usage, feature engagement, or document interactions.
• Local Storage & Sharing: Files processed within the App remain exclusively on your device. You have complete control over where your edited files are saved (e.g., in the iOS Files app) or shared via standard iOS share sheets.

3. DEVICE PERMISSIONS (CAMERA ACCESS)

To provide features such as scanning physical documents or converting photos to PDF ("Images to PDF"), the App requests permission to access your iOS device's camera.

• Explicit Permission: Access to the camera is requested only when you choose to use photo/scan features. You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in your iOS Settings.
• Local Processing Only: Photos captured via the camera are used strictly within the App to generate your PDF documents on your device. Captured images are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or any third parties.

4. PURCHASES & IN-APP SUBSCRIPTIONS

iPDF: PDF Tools offers Premium subscriptions (weekly with an optional 3-day trial, and annual options) processed entirely by Apple via the App Store.

• Apple Managed Transactions: All billing, payment transactions, and trial management are handled directly by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details or financial information.
• Subscription Receipt Validation: Apple provides an anonymized digital purchase receipt directly to your device to verify your Premium status locally.

5. SUPPORT COMMUNICATIONS & TECHNICAL DATA

The only circumstance in which we receive your data is when you voluntarily contact us via email for support or feedback (e.g., using the "Contact Us" option in the App).

• Support Email Template: When you tap "Contact Us" inside the App, your default email client opens with a pre-formatted message that includes basic technical environment details: App Version, iOS Version, and Device Model Identifier.
• Purpose: We use this information solely to help diagnose technical issues and respond to your inquiry. This information is only sent if you choose to tap send. You may manually delete or edit these details prior to sending the email.

6. DATA SECURITY

Because all your documents, photos, and files are stored and processed locally on your device, the security of your data relies on your device's security. We strongly recommend securing your iOS device with a passcode, Touch ID, or Face ID, and keeping your iOS operating system updated.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our App does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal data from anyone under the age of 13 (or under the relevant age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). Since we do not collect or store any personal data on external servers, we do not possess any database containing children's data.

8. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have comprehensive rights regarding your personal data. However, since we do not collect, transmit, or store your documents or app usage data on external servers, we do not possess access to your files or personal data.

• App Data Control: You can exercise your right to erasure (to be forgotten) at any time simply by deleting the App from your device, which will permanently delete all locally stored app data.
• Support Correspondence: If you have emailed us for support, you have the right to request the deletion of our email correspondence at any time by contacting us.

9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on our official distribution channels and updating the "Last update" date.

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland and the European Union.
