PRIVACY POLICY
Last update: August 15, 2026
1. INTRODUCTION & DATA CONTROLLER
This Privacy Policy explains how Artem Teluschenko ("we", "us", or "our"), as the developer and publisher of the Smart Printer mobile application ("App"), handles information when you use our App.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Polish data protection laws, Artem Teluschenko is the Data Controller of any personal data processed in connection with the App.
2. LOCAL DATA PROCESSING & SUPPORT COMMUNICATIONS
Smart Printer is designed as a local printing utility.
- No Server-Side Data Collection: We do not operate external cloud servers to collect, store, or transmit your personal data, documents, photos, scanned pages, text inputs, emails, web pages, or contact details during your use of the App.
- Local Processing & Local Network Transmission: All items selected for printing (including files, photo gallery items, camera scans, typed text, emails, web pages, and contacts) are processed strictly locally on your iOS device. Data transmitted to your printer travels directly across your local Wi-Fi network using standard Apple AirPrint technology and is never routed through or stored on our servers.
- Support Communications: The only scenario where we receive your data is when you voluntarily contact us via email for customer support or feedback.
3. SYSTEM PERMISSIONS & LOCAL ACCESS
To enable specific printing features, the App requests permission to access specific iOS capabilities on your device. These permissions are governed strictly by standard iOS system controls:
- Camera Access: Requested via a standard iOS prompt when you choose to use the document scanner or camera feature. Camera access is used solely locally on your device to capture images for scanning and printing. If permission is denied, the App cannot access your camera.
- Contacts Access: Requested via a standard iOS prompt when you choose to select contact information for printing. Contact details are read locally on your device solely for the purpose of generating a print layout. If permission is denied, the App cannot access your contacts.
All system access prompts are fully controlled by the iOS operating system. You can grant, deny, or revoke these permissions at any time through your iOS device Settings.
4. DATA SECURITY
Because your content and personal data are processed locally on your device and transmitted directly over your local network to your AirPrint printer, the security of your data depends on your device security and local Wi-Fi network security. We recommend keeping your iOS device properly secured, using a secure Wi-Fi network, and maintaining up-to-date operating system software.
5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our App does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal data from anyone under the age of 13 (or under the relevant age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). Since we do not collect any data on external servers, we do not possess any database containing children's data.
6. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS & EMAIL DATA (GDPR)
Under the GDPR, you have comprehensive rights regarding your personal data. However, since we do not collect, store, or transmit your app usage content or document data to any external servers, we cannot access, modify, or delete your local App data.
- App Data Control: You can exercise your right to erasure (to be forgotten) or right to object at any time simply by deleting the App from your device, which will permanently wipe all locally stored app settings and temporary data.
- Support Email Data: If you contact us via email, we will collect your email address and any information you choose to provide in the message. To assist with troubleshooting, our support email draft automatically appends basic, non-identifying technical specifications about your environment (specifically: App Version, iOS Version, and Device Model Identifier). You can view, edit, or remove these details before sending, or decide not to send the email at all. We use this information solely to respond to and resolve your inquiry. You have the right to request the deletion of our email correspondence at any time.
7. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on our official distribution channels and updating the "Last update" date.
8. GOVERNING LAW
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland and the European Union.
